Carl Nassib — the one overtly homosexual participant within the NFL — was granted a time off by the Raiders on Wednesday … after his former head coach, Jon Gruden, was ousted for spewing homophobic feedback in emails.
Las Vegas Raiders basic supervisor, Mike Mayock, simply advised reporters Nassib requested the “private day” following the departure of Gruden … explaining, “He simply mentioned he is acquired lots to course of.”
“There’s lots that is been happening the previous couple of days,” Mayock mentioned of Nassib’s state of affairs. “And, after all, we help that request.”
Mayock added that he is already spoken with Nassib a number of occasions in wake of Gruden’s exit … and is planning to fulfill with him later Wednesday as properly.
